"BLAKCK MARQET"

We Buy BlaKCK, now newly named the new "BlaKCK MarQet" is a community organization that started back in July 2020 founded by 2 African American women (Orechia Towers & Tameka Griffin). These 2 ladies saw the need to empower minority entrepreneurs that wanted to work for themselves but needed guidance, opportunity, and/or resources to do so. When Covid 19 hit, people were face with the challenges of losing their jobs. We Buy BlaKCK aka the new "BlaKCK MarQet" decided to create a Covid friendly marketplace outside on the historic streets of Quindaro Blvd, where minority businesses use to be established in the past. Over 100 Vendors setup on the streets of Quindaro from July to September of 2020 and have continued on since then, selling goods and services. Some entrepreneurs have gain enough profit, making them able to purchase a physical location, food trucks and or trailers, while continuing on selling their goods and services becoming successful. The new "BlaKCK MarQet's" goal is to continue to provide a marketing platform for entrepreneurs, while educating, providing resources and marketing, helping to push all entrepreneurs into success.
